Q) Which is better to own, Gold or Silver coins?
October 01, 2008: Worried Investor.
A) I would diverse, own both. Inherently over time, Silver has risen investment percentage on return in price higher than Gold. Silver is also cheaper to buy and you can own more. Gold on the other hand is the 'True' international currency and always has been. Purchase only one ounce coins of pure Gold or Silver.

Q) Congress is so out of touch with America, how do they survive?
October 02, 2008: A Frustrated American.
A) Simple, Congress passed legislation allowing huge media groups to buy up all the local Radio, TV stations, and Newspapers, thus giving them control of what is said. The news media is prone only to support a two-party system. This is why you never see coverage of other candidates either at a local or national level. We are being led around like cattle and we are taking it. One solution that has been tried by some over the years is to a have NOTA (None of the Above) item put on the ballot, which means that if neither candidate gets a majority, the two-parties would at least have to run another candidate and have a quick election within 30-days, of course this has failed over and over again!

Q) Do you think people should be allowed to plead insanity for crimes?
October 03, 2008: Al Faux.
A) NO. But if they are allowed to then a crime is a crime. When the the quack psychiatrists say they are sane, then they are released from the mental institution to a prison to serve out their remaining time.

Q) Do you think children should be spanked?
October 04, 2008: New Parent.
A) Absolutely. Discipline is part of the growing up and learning process. Parents think they can punish a child by scolding them (talking to them). Children want parents to be involved, they need guidance. Spanking a child does not mean beating a child. Never use your hand, never hit a child when you are angry. Use a wooden paddle or wooden spoon. It isn't the pain, it is the psychological impact that says to the child, I am the parent, I am the boss. Don't spank babies or teenagers, neither work. Spankings usually start around 2-years-old through the age of 11 or 12.
Good luck as a parent, you'll need it (ha,ha).

Q) My 4-year-old daughter is a constant talker, I can't shut her up. Is this normal?
October 05, 2008: A Parent.
A) YES. You shouldn't try to quiet her. She is learning to express herself as well as get attention from adults and interact with other children. Deterring her may cause learning problems down the road; or for her to withdraw socially.

Q) I have a problem using many types of chemicals on my body, for example most deodorant sprays or gels cause a rash. Do you have any suggestions for a natural deodorant?

A) Yes, try using baking soda. Lightly apply it and do not rub it in.

Q) What exactly is Sex Addiction?
October 07, 2008: Sounds Great.
A) Sexual addiction is a controversial term used to describe individuals who report being unable to control their sexual behaviors or urges. The idea of "sexual addiction" is not universally accepted and is not recognized either by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) of the American Psychiatric Association or by the International Classification of Diseases of the World Health Organization. Other terms, such as sexual compulsivity have also been used.
Those who do use this term have described sex addicts as people who, possibly out of fear of any truly intimate relationship, repeatedly and compulsively try to connect with others through highly impersonal intimate behaviors: masturbation, empty affairs, frequent visits to prostitutes, voyeurism, and the like. Sex addicts—numbering in the millions, both men and women, young and old, of all races and religions—become mesmerized with the thrill and rush of adrenaline that they can achieve only through their obsessive, highly ritualized patterns of sexual behavior. Some believe that sexual addiction is a form of psychological addiction.[citation needed] People who believe in the construct have described the behavior of sex addicts as comparable to behavior of alcoholics and [drug] addicts, with sex functioning like a drug..

Q) This guy told me he wanted to give me some Coney Island Whitefish. Every time I ask someone what that means they just laugh. So what is it?

Q) Is it true that Climate Change and Global Warming is just a farce?
October 09, 2008: Ginger Snaps.
A) Yes and No. Climate change occurs in cycles but takes millions of years to cycle completely through. The earth is entering another ice age, but has been since the last ice age stopped, so ends and starts another cycle. As for Global Warming this is a bunch of idiots out to make money by selling so-called Carbon Foot Prints or Carbon Credit.' It should be no surprise that Al Gore owns a company that buys and sells these carbon credits, thus he screams global waring, i.e. pay me money. It is true however, that pollution is bad for us and some chemicals deplete the ozone layer exposing us to harmful rays from the sun, this leads to increased skin cancer.

Q) What does Pork Barrel spending mean?
October 10, 2008: Simple Simon.
A) It refers to fattening the pig. This is where all the useless politicians in both the House and Senate add their special interest group funding. They attach it to primary bills as amendments. Then they vote against the primary bill if the amendments are not adopted. Most of this spending is useless. It funds idiotic studies, gives money to art, subsidizes industry, and funds construction of projects that rarely benefit anyone, like the bridge in Alaska that went nowhere! Latest example of this was the House and Senate combined added 150 Billion Dollars of Pork Barrel Spending to the all ready over inflated 700 Billion Dollar Wall Street Bailout. In other words, a good way for the middle class taxpayer to make the rich even richer. Both Political parties are guilty. Both Obama and McCain have repeatedly voted for these.

Q) Why does my Urine have an odor?
October 12, 2008: Betty Bangers.
A) Urine odor refers to the scent of the fluid excreted during urination. Urine odor varies. However, if you drink enough fluids and are otherwise healthy, urine does not usually have a strong smell.
Changes in urine odor are usually temporary. Such changes are not always a sign of disease. Certain foods and medicines, including vitamins, may affect your urine's odor. For example, asparagus causes a characteristic urine odor.
However, foul smelling urine may be due to bacteria, such as that responsible for urinary tract infections. Sweet smelling urine may be a sign of uncontrolled diabetes or a rare disease of metabolism. Liver disease and certain metabolic disorders may cause musty smelling urine.
Causes - Abnormal urine odor may indicate:
** Dehydration (concentrated urine can have an ammonia-like scent)
** Hepatic (liver) failure
** Ketonuria Maple sugar urine disease (very rare)
** Phenylketonuria (rare) Rectal fistula
** Urinary tract infection

Q) Do you believe it really doesn't matter who is elected President, Obama or McCain?
October 16, 2008: Sarah Kincaid.
A) Yes. They are both mere puppets of big business and corporate lobbyist, many which now represent foreign governments and banks. There really hasn't been a separation of parties, except by name, i.e. Republican and Democrat, since Ronald Reagan was President. This is why we need an independent totally anonymous person who has never been involved in politics before and is from the middle class to be president.

Q) Do you believe Obama will win and then be assassinated?
October 17, 2008: Jennifer Wortz.
A) I believe John McCain was sacrificed because the Republican Party knew no matter who they put up would be defeated. As for Obama he is a true Liberal and this country is headed for a depression. Whether he survives office no one can tell. I am sure there are a lot of bigots and haters who would like him dead but whether someone would go that far is unknown. I don't want any President shot, it's not good for America.

Q) So you think if Obama is elected, we will have a full blown 'Depression.' Don't you think that is going a bit far?
October 18, 2008: Joe Dirt.
A) No I don't think that is going too far. No nation can within stand the spending that America is going through. Not a single person in the White House or Congress will even admit to the fact we are in a recession, but if we're NOT in trouble why did we just spend nearly a TRILLION Dollars bailing out a bunch of Wall Street assholes who should have gone to jail?

Q) I am a woman. I am thinking about buying a small 22 caliber revolver for protection. What do you think?
October 19, 2008: Heather Snotchies.
A) A .22 Caliber Revolver is a good weapon for several reasons. It is inexpensive to shoot, lightweight, and conceals easily. In addition, the revolver wont jam like a semi-automatic pistol, and it leaves no shell casings behind. This is the preferred weapon of mobster assassinations for those reasons.
There are four types of ammunition for a 22. They are:
22 Caliber Short
22 Caliber Long
22 Caliber Hollow Point
22 Caliber Magnum
Make sure you get a handgun that fires the standard 22 caliber long.
Learn to shoot. Take lessons. Practice often. Load the handgun with 22 caliber hollow point.
There are downsides to a small caliber weapon. Stopping power is the number one issue. A large person, or a person on drugs the handgun may have little effective stopping power, if any, unless you shoot them in the head.
Most criminals, such as car-jackers, home invaders, rapist, and muggers aren't going to notice that it is a small caliber weapon, they are just gonna cut and run.

Q) I think this gasoline lull in prices is a farce created as an illusion for the election. Do you agree?
October 20, 2008: Jake Harper.
A) Absolutely. I believe that whoever wins the election that by March of next year gasoline pump prices will rise dramatically, some of this will be a new federal tax.
