Q) I am very disillusioned about dating. You never know what your going to encounter. Any overall suggestions about women?
February 01, 2009: Robert Wade.
A) Sorry not really. Unfortunately with fake apparel today you just don't know what your gonna end up with until you get them home and in the sack, even more so, in the shower.
Woman now have so many options to enhance their appearance such as....
Fake Boobs
Fake Butts
Fake Camel Toes
Fake Tattoos
Fake Piercing Jewelry
Colored Lens for their Eyes
In my day, all they had was Wigs and Girdles, and they still have those.
If you shower with them, at least they have to remove all these items. Then you get to see the real woman, and hopefully it is a woman, not a man!

Q) My college roommate heard that there is a new date rape drug that can sterilize a woman. Is this true?
February 02, 2009: Connie Bender.
A) NO.
This is an old email hoax that has been around since 1999. The so-called drug is 'Progesterex.'
However, there are several real date rape drugs out there, most often used are roofies. So be careful. Never leave your drink unattended or be distracted from your drink so someone can slip a drug in.

Q) What’s the difference between the following: Robot, Robotoid, Android, Cyborg, and Nanoid?
February 03, 2009: Ben Garrick.
A) Here are the differences:
A Robot is a mechanical artificial agent. In practice, it is usually an electro-mechanical system which, by its appearance or movements, conveys a sense that it has intent or agency of its own.

A robotoid is an "artificial lifeform" that is created through processes that are totally different than cloning or synthetics.
Perhaps the first mention of "robotoid" was in the Lost in Space episode War of the Robots which originally aired on February 9, 1966 and credits Robby the Robot as a "robotoid" and William Bramley and Ollie O'Toole as uncredited "robotoid voice" actors. In the episode, the Lost in Space Robot says: It is more than a machine...it is a robotoid. The robot goes on to explain that as a robot, it is constrained by its programing, whereas the robotoid has the capability of making a choice.

An Android is a robot designed to look and act human. The word derives from ανδρός, the genitive of the Greek ανήρ anēr, meaning "man", and the suffix -eides, used to mean "of the species; alike" (from eidos, "species"). Though the word derives from a gender-specific root, its usage in English is usually gender neutral; the female counterpart, gynoid, is generally used only when the female gender is a distinguishing trait of the robot. The term was first mentioned by St. Albertus Magnus in 1270 and was popularized by the French writer Villiers in his 1886 novel L'Ève future, although the term "android" appears in US patents as early as 1863 in reference to miniature humanlike toy automations.
Thus far, androids have largely remained within the domain of science fiction, frequently seen in film and television. However, some humanoid robots now exist.

A Cyborg is a cybernetic organism (i.e., an organism that has both artificial and natural systems). The term was coined in 1960 when Manfred Clynes and Nathan Kline used it in an article about the advantages of self-regulating human-machine systems in outer space. D. S. Halacy's Cyborg: Evolution of the Superman in 1965 featured an introduction by Manfred Clynes, who wrote of a "new frontier" that was "not merely space, but more profoundly the relationship between 'inner space' to 'outer space' -a bridge ... between mind and matter." The cyborg is often seen today merely as an organism that has enhanced abilities due to technology, but this perhaps oversimplifies the category of feedback.
In current but limited use today are computer chip implants into the human body. The first step in creating a Cyborg.
Nanorobotics is the technology of creating machines or robots at or close to the microscopic scale of a nanometre (10-9 metres). More specifically, nanorobotics refers to the still largely hypothetical nanotechnology engineering discipline of designing and building nanorobots.

A Nanoid, a.k.a. Nanorobots (nanobots, nanoids, nanites or nanonites) would be typically devices ranging in size from 0.1-10 micrometers and constructed of nanoscale or molecular components. As no artificial non-biological nanorobots have yet been created, they remain a hypothetical concept.
Another definition sometimes used is a robot which allows precision interactions with nanoscale objects, or can manipulate with nanoscale resolution. Following this definition even a large apparatus such as an atomic force microscope can be considered a nanorobotic instrument when configured to perform nanomanipulation. Also macroscale robots or microrobots which can move with nanoscale precision can also be considered nanorobots.
Nanomachines are largely in the research-and-development phase, but some primitive molecular machines have been tested. An example is a sensor having a switch approximately 1.5 nanometers across, capable of counting specific molecules in a chemical sample. The first useful applications of nanomachines, if such are ever built, might be in medical technology, where they might be used to identify cancer cells and destroy them. Another potential application is the detection of toxic chemicals, and the measurement of their concentrations, in the environment. Recently, Rice University has demonstrated a single-molecule car which is developed by a chemical process and includes buckyballs for wheels. It is actuated by controlling the environmental temperature and by positioning a scanning tunneling microscope tip.

Q) I am an average looking girl with a firm trim body but I have a problem finding a good guy, any suggestions?
February 04, 2009: Fit and Trim.
A) Yes, this may seem a little abstract, but it's a sure winner.
First you have to be able to do this, if not join a Yogi class.
Go to a club (nightclub) with some girlfriends. Simply bet them you can hold your ankle with your hand and extend your leg straight up over your head while standing erect on the other leg. Then simply get up and do it. I guarantee men will flock to you like there is no other lady in the bar.

Q) This guy walks up to me at the Laundromat and says he has a serious case of Blue Balls, and can I help him. What does that mean?
February 07, 2009: Ms Curiosity.
A) Blue Balls is a street slang meaning the excruciating pain a man receives when his balls swell to the size of coconuts because of lack of sex, unfinished blowjobs, and just not ejaculating when he knows he should.
Next time just tell the asshole to use his hand and solve his own problem!

Q) What is your opinion on Angela Suleman, woman who used a fertility doctor to give birth to octuplets?
February 09, 2009: Angela Brewer.
A) The woman is emotional disturbed and the doctors who did the in-vitro knew this. They should lose their license and serve jail time. Everything they own should be confiscated and converted to cash to pay for these children who will be nothing but a damn burden on society. The mother should be sterilized so she can never have children again, and all of her 14 children should be removed and placed for immediate adoption.

Q) My girlfriend keeps telling me my boyfriend is a pedophile. He likes me to dress up in either a cheerleader outfit or a Catholic school girl's uniform. Is she right, should I be worried?
February 12, 2009: Troubled.
A) I get a lot of questions about what is normal. Normal is what's normal to you. Saying that, you have to be comfortable with your sex play roles. Men like their fantasies and many men play them out in the form of role playing with their partners. Women also have fantasies.
If you are concerned, there are a few clues to look for -
1) Does he make you wear these all the time, such as he demands you be wearing this clothing when he gets home or is this just an occasional thing?
2) Does he surf a lot of Internet Porn?
3) Does he stare at young girls?
I will leave you with this thought - Remember this, women should never take advice about men from another woman.

Q) What is the origin of Valentine's Day and how did men ever get trapped into this bullshit?
February 14, 2009: Rob Rhiner.
A) Valentine's Day or Saint Valentine's Day is an occasion celebrated on February 14 by many people throughout the world. In the West, it is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine's cards, presenting flowers, or offering confectionery Usually chocolates). The holiday is named after two among the numerous Early Christian martyrs named Valentine. The day became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.
The day is most closely associated with the mutual exchange of love notes in the form of "valentines." Modern Valentine symbols include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid. Since the 19th century, handwritten notes have largely given way to mass-produced greeting cards. The sending of Valentines was a fashion in nineteenth-century Great Britain, and, in 1847, Esther Howland developed a successful business in her Worcester, Massachusetts home with hand-made Valentine cards based on British models. The popularity of Valentine cards in 19th-century America was a harbinger of the future commercialization of holidays in the United States.
So it's another basic useless holiday we got from the Brits. Men are trapped into this holiday by commercial venture, as in mass marketing to women creates retail sales. Add to the fact that every women passes this on to their daughter or son that women are to be treated special on this day. Americans are especially susceptible to this idiotic idea that if a man doesn't give you a gift and spend money on you he doesn't care about you!

And, Happy Valentines Day to all!

Q) What is 'RSS' that I see all the time in my URL bar?
February 18, 2009: A NY Girl.
A) Meaning of the 'Initials':
The initials "RSS" are used to refer to the following formats:
Rich Site Summary (RSS 0.91)RDF Site Summary (RSS 0.9 and 1.0)
Really Simple Syndication (RSS 2.0)
Definition:
RSS is a family of Web feed formats used to publish frequently updated works such as blog entries, news headlines, audio, and video in a standardized format. An RSS document (which is called a "feed", "web feed", or "channel") includes full or summarized text, plus metadata such as publishing dates and authorship. Web feeds benefit publishers by letting them syndicate content automatically. They benefit readers who want to subscribe to timely updates from favored websites or to aggregate feeds from many sites into one place. RSS feeds can be read using software called an "RSS reader", "feed reader", or "aggregator", which can be web-based, desktop-based, mobile device or any computerized Internet-connected device. A standardized XML file format allows the information to be published once and viewed by many different programs. The user subscribes to a feed by entering the feed's URI (often referred to informally as a "URL", although technically, those two terms are not exactly synonymous) into the reader or by clicking an RSS icon in a browser that initiates the subscription process. The RSS reader checks the user's subscribed feeds regularly for new work, downloads any updates that it finds, and provides a user interface to monitor and read the feeds.
RSS formats are specified using XML, a generic specification for the creation of data formats. Although RSS formats have evolved since March 1999, the RSS icon ("") first gained widespread use between 2005 and 2006.

Q) Do you think Prostitution should be legal?
February 19, 2009: A Former Call Girl.
A) Yes.
As long as it is regulated and licensed to protect the customer and the service provider including random testing for STD's by the call service girls (guys), and that all sex requires the mandatory use of a condom.
Also only those 18 or older may indulge or participate.
That the girls (guys) who provide the service pay taxes.

February 20, 2009: Larry Lim.
A) A film that indulges in the hopes and dreams of women and/or girls. A film that has a happy, fuzzy, ridiculously unrealistic ending. Women love these movies, men hate them!

Q) I am in high school, and having a real problem grasping this whole science thing. But can you explain what are Electron Volts in space?
February 21, 2009: Jenny Blades.
A) It is how we measure 'Visible Light Energy' from outer space. To put it in perspective, the more powerful the electron burst the better able we are to see it. Visible light has an energy range of between two and three electron volts. So the more powerful, say a One Million Electrons the better we can see what occurs at great distances in space. In terms of energy, X-rays are more energetic because they penetrate matter. These things don't stop for anything they just bore through and that's why we can see them from enormous distances in outer space.

Q) What is a codec?
February 22, 2009: Elwood Blues.
A) A codec is software that is used to compress or decompress a digital media file, such as a song or video. Content creators use codecs because a compressed file takes up less storage space on your computer and can be transferred across the Internet more quickly and smoothly. When you play a digital media file, Windows Media Player uses a codec to decompress the file. Codecs are used to create and play nearly all music or video files on your computer or on Web sites.
A codec can consist of two components an encoder and a decoder. The encoder compresses a file during creation, and the decoder decompresses the file so that it can be played. Some codecs include both components, while other codecs only include one. For example, if you install a DVD playback program on your computer, the program will likely install a codec that only includes an MPEG-2 decoder, which allows you to play the DVD on your computer. You would not be able to use the decoder to create your own DVD.

Q) Just how did the Zip Code the Postal Service uses get it's name?
February 24, 2009: Captain Cowboy.
A) The ZIP code is the system of postal codes used by the United States Postal Service (USPS). The letters ZIP, an acronym for Zone Improvement Plan, are properly written in capital letters and were chosen to suggest that the mail travels more efficiently, and therefore more quickly, when senders use the code. The basic format consists of five numerical digits. An extended ZIP + 4 code includes the five digits of the ZIP code, a hyphen, and four more digits that determine a more precise location than the ZIP code alone. The term ZIP Code was originally registered as a service-mark (a type of trademark) by the U.S. Postal Service, but its registration has since expired.

Q) My brother and in his friend were talking about a girl. He commented that she would be a board and flashlight date. What does that mean?
February 28, 2009: The Eavesdropping Sister.
A) It refers to a woman with a large vagina (pussy). As in I will need to strap a board to my ass so I don't fall in and I'll need a flashlight to see the end of the tunnel so I don't get lost!
